It sounds like you are doing a good job at helping your friend. I hope you can remember how you were there for your friend when he needed it. It shows that you have a compassionate heart.
I hope justice (whatever that may be) is done in his case. I hope that justice is that he didn't do anything so that he gets out right away. I am glad that he had you and his other friends to help him out.
