Yes. As part of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I chart my moods. More importantly, I chart the triggers and corresponding specific anxieties. I have indeed seen trends and patterns - like catasrophic thinking, etc. The charting has allowed me to recognize the main triggers and those anxieties my therapist can concentrate on. The glaring examples in my own mood chart are the ringing phone, and being in public.
