Ibogaine is a detox/addiction INTERRUPTOR, and will reset your brain to pre-use state *for a while*. It does not take away the pain. Some opiate addicts experience cravings after treatment, so it's not 100% effective. The addict still has the burden of working on their recovery in order to remain clean.
Since you don't have psychological dependence (lucky you!), you are better off working with a pain management specialist.
For what it's worth, I took ibogaine for alcohol addiction in 2005 and stayed sober and depression free for a few years. I relapsed twice in 2010 and 2012 when I stopped taking psych meds (I didn't know I had a mental illness...- a story for another day
Good luck to you
