either that or someone has to stay with him most of the time
sometimes people will come in if they are being provided with free room and board (for their services at certain times of the day) as long as the arrangement fits with their schedule (if they are a student - maybe a nursing student).

(I'm thinking these same kinds of issues because of my own father - who is going to need help in order so that he can stay in his home. I don't like what I read about nursing homes - check them out ahead of time to find out what the staffing is like, if there have been any recent outbreaks of infectious diseases - that was the case at one facility last winter when they were going to ship him to a facility - but they couldn't use one, because of an outbreak). Check about the qualifications of the staff (some of them are only university students, etc - they are not professionals, they are unlicensed and may have no health care training - there might be one RN who comes in - in some cases it is only an LPN who is in charge).
