Is it easier to get into a university in Australia or New Zealand?

I've actually heard from people that people here in India are kind of reluctant to hire people with Australian degrees. I don't know why. American and Canadian degrees are much more acceptable.

But tell me. How easy is it for a foreigner who's done a master's in Australia to get a job in Australia?
