Is there some reason you won't be able to share custody of the children if you get a divorce? Do not make the mistake of staying married for the sake of the children, trust me, I grew up in a bad marriage and prayed every day my parents would get a divorce; it was hell on me. Kids aren't blind and growing up in a loveless household is painful for them as well; don't let that hold you back.

As for your parents, they are being selfish - this isn't about them and whether they manage to keep seeing the children or not (and why wouldn't they?) this is your life and you have to do what is best for yourself. The worst thing you can do is let this destroy you and take your children's father away from them for good.

Be strong, there is a better, freer future ahead.
