I have ADHD and I am kind of in the same boat. My body has had some quick tolerance to Ritalin 10 mg ir. So I am going to ask my doctor for the longer acting Ritalin (concerta) or an increase because the ir is too short acting. I am surprised that your doctor has not offered you Adderall XR.

As far as sleep meds, I have had some help on ambien but right now I am on low dose mirtazapine and 10 mg of ambien together and they work well for me at present.
