I have asked this question many times, and I'm sorry to say I haven't found a good answer yet.
The answers others have shared with me have included:
1. Just suck it up and do it
2. Take someone you trust with you for support
3. Say outright you have problems trusting and that you're not even sure how to go about doing therapy
Maybe one of those could help you though admittedly they haven't worked for me.
