Gerber~
I too have fibro. And with that scoliosis in the L1-L5 area and some arthritis in there too. So I very well understand the pain. I just went for an hour massage ( our insurance helps alot on this) for my back and legs and shoulders. It helps alot with the muscle pain. I also get an adjustment from my chiropractor. Which helps alot too. The one thing he does though that seems to help me more than anything is this stretch . He has me lay on my stomach on this table . Straps my ankles in and then the table lowers and comes back up for the lower half of my body. It stretches the spine. OMG does this feel good after. I feel like I am walkng taller than ever! And it seems the more treatments I get the longer it lasts. So maybe you can ask your chiro about that? Its worth the try. The massage kinda hurts a bit at first. And you might bruise some . At least I did when I first got it. But now its all good. Good luck hope this helps. Ohhh one more thing .. have you gone for any Physical therapy? THey can teach you some stretches to do there that will keep your muscles limbered up. I also go to a pain management doctor ( physiatrist) and he prescribes some pain meds ( ultram er at night and lidoderm patches ~ for trigger points and mobic for my arthritis) If taken regualarly.. they help alot. But you gotta learn your limitations too on how much you can do physically. Dont push yourself its not worth it.

Take care
Beth
