My dad was the same to my sis and I. Did we chose more "relistic" goals to appease him? yes we did. Are we happy about the choice? Not always. Imo follow your dream. You will get motivation from within even on your worst days. It is possible that it may be difficult at first but it's better than living your whole life through parent's choices alone. I'm kind of repeating Lucami there but from the other perspective.
