The weather turned warm here and we learned that the central air conditioner does not make it to the 3rd floor of the townhouse that has the bedrooms. We told the landord but it is only one zone. We closed all the vents in the basement and the main floor but it does not help so the basement pretty much gets all the air conditioning and is freezing cold and our bedroom, guest room and office gets none. It renders that floor useless. I am very upset over this. This place is not cheap to rent. Right now I am trying to sleep on the couch. We are going to have to move again when the lease is up because I refuse to pay this kind of rent when one part of the living space is useless for part of the years. This is not helping my mental health.

I found a psychologist down here but so far he is not helping much. I only saw him 3 times. I guess I need to give him a chance. My husband started his new job today so anxiety level around here is high and will remain so for a while.
Hang in there Moxie! I know how hard it is just dealing with a new residence so i can imagine how anxious you are right now and the dealing with the AC is no help. I'm sorry that you've already come across problems.

I can imagine the amount of stress around you and your husband right now.. my heart goes out to you and you can pm me if you ever need to talk!
Thanks for this!
