The letter is a really good idea. Then you won't have to worry about remembering. And you can say as little or as much of it as you want to. Yeah I have fear of my mom booting me if I ever try to leave and live with someone non-alcoholic. (like being in a cage) I guess we have a choice to put up with it for a bit or go our own way and really be on our own. (everything). Though there is the chance they may not go that far I understand the risk involved.
