Don't beat yourself up about 'growing up.' There is nothing childlike about forming a connection with someone, and feeling awful about that person going away for a considerable amount of time. I practically die if I don't see my T for a week. You have every reason to feel the way you have described. Please try to take care of yourself for the next seven weeks.
