This seems to be quite a significant experience for you and I am very sorry to hear that it has caused you so much trouble.

Very honestly I have read through your post and I simply can not say what may have caused this reaction (simply I am not a medical expert at all) and I wouldn't want to give you a false answer.

This may be a case of something in which you may never find the exact answer to.

Sure; I mean members may come forth and give you suggestions on what they think it may be; but honestly one can not be 100% sure - based on the fact that it is quite a bit after the event with no hard test available.

So yes; I appreciate that this has caused you a great deal of paranoia for those days after the event; as you believe that something was placed there.

I found this good blog here on psych central. I was kind of thinking that whilst you may not get a 100% definitive answer; well; it may help you address something that is quite important her - how to move past this event (as you may never get an answer; and I wouldn't want to see this burden you forever if you can work out strategies to let this be)
