I'd take them over some of the crazy high heeled spike shoes we're seeing now. I figure with these I have only a 30% chance of hurting myself. With the heels it jumps to 90. Of course I'm sensitive to these things, since I'm currently in a cast for 6 weeks, after tearing ligaments, after falling in my sensible shoes.
