I think the only thing that shows up on typical background checks are criminal records. If they want to dive deeper into anything else, they'll usually ask you to sign a waver stating whatever they specifically want to look at. Medical records are private, it's doctor-patient confidential. I think it's illegal for anyone, including employers, to look into your medical documents.
