I've always had irregular periods, the only thing regular about them seemed to be that they would usually skip every second month.

Eventually I missed my period for 6 months straight and then a bunch of tests later I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome.

I think though for the most part it's probably not something to really stress about, as so many have said before some times it's just like that.
