I have learned to tune at least some of that out. It will always been an issue. I also have the OCD firing off to !
As you know I was diagnosed late. So prior to that I just assumed it was the perfectionist in me causing the problems that I had just letting things be..
It's really hard to learn how to let stuff go.. I finally had to ask myself...Does this really matter? Does it matter enough to me...to allow myself to get really upset?
As BipolarRn said,, You need to pick your battles. I have learned (finally) that life is hard and I really don't need to make it even harder.
I'm glad your husband is so supportive. I also have a Gem that even tho it took him a while to get on board, he is now and I don't take that for granted.. I know how hard it was when he didn't "get it"
Advice? Well... maybe some self grounding would come in handy when your getting annoyed over things that you probably can't even control.. Self grounding is a good tool to use, takes practice of course, worth a shot.
