I disclosed something big last week so I really don't want skip therapy this week. So I just kept our normal time. Here's the thing I got her a birthday card. Now I'm scared to give it to her. It's a basic 99 cent card that I wrote a nice message in and colored the inside. I'm scared of how I'll feel if she says she can't accept it. Here's the thing I have bough posters that you color like the black fuzzy one's and she has accepted those and put them up on the wall in her office.
So do you think she'll accept the birthday card?
Has anyone ever given there therapist a birthday card before? ??? What happened how did they respond?

I've given mine birthday cards and gifts before, as well as for Christmas, and she accepted graciously and seemed pleased and appreciative. I kept the value within reason considering the cost of our sessions so the gift was not extravagant.
