I have this big, 8 foot tall foliage growing over my privacy fence from the upper neighbor's yard. Both the neighbors and I had talked about it, and I didn't realize till he came over last night that it is poison ivy! It's HUGE! Though I've never had a problem with being allergic to it, I get a few itchy bumps when in contact, but not so bad. Recently I strung the dog shock fencing thru it, not realizing what it was, though I did notice the three leaves, etc. I got some pretty stubborn itchy places on my arms and even my face. Last night, the neightor informed me that it is poison ivy and he's going to remove it! and may necessitate taking down part of the fence to do the job. I gave him my long loppers and long handled garden claw. They are such nice neighbors, and I'm relieved that he's going to remove it! It's such a huge thing, I don't want to mess with it!
