Well, erectile dysfunction is usually caused by things like low testosterone levels, high blood pressure ... stuff like that. Like I mentioned about marijuana, I don't know that the prostate can affect normal erections, I'm just not sure of that mechanism. (I'm thinking it's more of the depressive nature of THC that causes any issues.)

Personally, I don't think he lied about it. You probably don't have to worry about dysfunction with this.

However, if the infection does cause some kind of damage to your prostate then I can see how semen production could be adversely affected leading to infertility. BUT ... you're getting on some antibiotics and will get it cleared up so I don't think you've got anything to worry about. Just keep an eye on things, and make sure you take all of the antibiotics as instructed and you'll be back to 100% before you know it.
