There is a lot of interesting data about the gut/mind link. If you have a leaky gut then that could certainly be making you feel crappy. A better lifestyle and diet would probably "cure" half the population of this site haha.
I recently did a full gut detox, practitioner range prescribed by my holistic GP... not a difference in mood, I still ended up inpatient and suicidal. I feel that proves my illness is most certainly mental and not a reaction to lifestyle, foods, exercise or otherwise that I constantly see in others.
