You are exactly right. I just facepalm at the amount of uneducated people giving advice on this site!!

Ativan works better for me shortterm but I need 2.5 - 5mg dose. Im on 2mg of clonazepam daily anyway which I hate and want off asap its severely impacting on my cognitively.

Ativan/lorazepam is a good medication with the least withdrawl symptoms if take correctly. Please stress that it is to be taken correctly and as a last resort after going through the coping strategies and breathing techniques.
