I had the exact same problem when I was at school :/ so, so hard to deal with. I'd been obsessed with her for five years when she complained about me to my head of year and said I was too 'intense', and that hurt deeper than anything else I've experienced. The obsession continued even after she'd complained about me, but I tried to channel it into the Sims PC game which helped a lot (feels like actual interaction).
