My daughter started taking 50mg Zoloft about 8 weeks ago and she has reacted wonderfully to it. Prior to taking the drug she was extremely withdrawn, angry and depressed. Unfortunately, the drug has caused her eczema to go crazy. Her skin is severely dry and cracking/bleeding. Nothing is helping. I have called her doctor twice and she has not called back. We have an appointment next week. I am heartbroken over the idea of stopping the drug because it is helping my daughter so much but she can't continue with her skin in this condition. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would another medication help the depression but not bother her skin as much? Thank You!!
