Lets discuss different types of food that are popular in different areas.

Inspired by the dirty rice I'm about to eat which is a creole dish popular in New Orleans, what are some of your favorite foods and where do they originate? What about types of food that are popular specifically in your hometown?

I am originally from New York, a cultural melting pot. I grew up with lots of different types of food, Spanish, Italian, Jamaican, Irish, etc.

I live in Kentucky now. Sweet tea is popular in this area as well as fried fish and chicken which, while not the healthiest, is delicious
