I was with her for 3 years before she left me the first time. After about 6 months she said she wanted me back. Over 3 weeks we talked about many things including our future and she told me repeatedly that she felt the breakup was a mistake and she would never do it again. Just 2 nights ago she told me she loved me and missed me and all this and that, then last night she sends a message saying she unintentionally started seeing someone else and that she was not going to leave him because he made her happy.

I have no desire now to get with her again. That time has passed. My sanity would not last long with someone who can throw words like love around so carelessly like toilet paper and then flush my heart at the drop of a hat. Despite all this, I still love her and I wish she had felt the same way and not just said so. I know now that words, no matter how strongly, how often spoken, can mean absolutely nothing.
