Hi Patty.... Poison ivy is nasty stuff.. I cut some ugly shrubs down along side my son's house a few months ago. And all these vines were growing up the side of the house. I thought they were weeds, so I just pulled them all out. A few days later I broke out in a few "itchy bumps", and the next thing I knew, I was covered with the stuff. I was a walking calamine lotion bottle for two weeks, not realizing it was spreading. I itched soooo bad, esp at night I was in tears. I tried everything from rubbing salt water on the "itchy patches" to out of desperation dumping "bourbon" all over me. lol... Please do not ask me why I tried burbon.. I would have been better off drinking it rather than swimming in it. All it did was make me stink. lol

Anyway my son bought me some 'Ivarest" . Good stuff!!! A tad expensive at $15 a tube, but well worth it..Stopped the itch immediately and dried up the poison ivy within three days. So if those few itchy patches you have start spreading, which I hope it doesn't, I highly recommend Ivarest.
