kd thankyou for posting this. i was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid 5 years after having my first child, but i had so many of the symptoms you mentioned leading up to that time. the doctors just never thought of testing it until it was a last resort. i always wondered why it suddenly became almost inactive and now i'm wondering whether it was because of the hormones in my pregnancy? it all makes sense.
it is well under control now woth 200mg of thyroxine and 25mg levothyroxine per day and is normal. thanks for your post.
