You live in a large metropolitan city and close to US. It would seem you should be able to find a therapist locally. If the diagnosis does not feel right you could get a second opinion before making big changes.

Another way to approach this would be to medicate the most severe or both and work with a therapist on the most severe.

IMO going international might make you vulnerable to questionable therapies. If you can't find something in Canada or US, then maybe another method of treating your situation is called for.
