I was told by my psychiatrist that it might even take 3 months before the SSRIs kick in properly and would be taking it for 3 to 12 months. I think she gave me Xanax just to help me sleep when I take Sertraline - I should be taking both before bed. Btw. has the Sertraline really helped you? - while on it and long-term? |
The Sertraline did help with depression, but I still had issues with the PTSD. I eventually went on Esetolapram for that.
