There's a separate OCD board here in the forums--maybe try there for people with more experience with it?

One method of dealing with it that should be done with a therapist trained in the technique is exposure therapy, where you're gradually exposed more and more to what you are afraid of. It doesn't seem like something you should try on your own, though.
