That said, if I didn't show up on a normal day, my therapist would call. If I had been in crisis the last time we met, he would call the police to check up on me.

she can't. i have medicare. shes already in murky territory charging me so much for e-mails. shes not allowed to take cash from me for anything, so if i no show then i no show. if she bills me its considered fraud from my insurance POV.
besides, shes spent so many of my sessions sitting in silence, she should really be giving a lot of thought to giving them back their money for those very many sessions, not charging more for no shows.
