Yes - I love the description "vortex" Toodles - that's actually a pretty good adjective to describe how I feel when I'm manic.

cashart - yup - me too "mine never stops" = yeah it's like that isn't it? Ughhh I hate it when that happens.

gagrl - I get badly affected with memory loss too when I'm manic. It's pretty annoying for me.

Valentina - I tend to get very restless when I'm manic. I do a lot of pacing. Actually my pacing probably co incides in more with when I'm in a mixed state too. I just can't keep still.

Hallie - interesting that you should mention songs. I get repetative songs playing in my mind when I am manic. Not the best choice for chat rooms when I am manic. I have been known to spam chat rooms with lyrics when I am manic

Thankfully I am no longer manic!
