Back OT... in a strange way Ben E King was as important to me as BB King.
Stand By Me
I read a lot about BB King last night. Nobody, ever, past or present, had anything bad to say about him personally. The relaxed, friendly, humble man you saw on stage was the real BB King. His last few performances were so sad. He had taken to using a chair onstage mostly for quite a while. His mind and body were going fast and his performances reflected it. A blues man plays the blues... so that's what he did until it just wasn't physically possible anymore.
