Get yourself a lawyer who specializes in Social Security. Many will work on contingency where they collect their fee after you've won benefits. That's what I did and I got SSDI on the first try. I have bipolar 1 which might have made the difference, because I never even had to see one of their psychiatrists/psychologists. I don't know why bipolar 2 is looked upon as somehow less crippling than type 1---most of the people I know with type 2 are every bit as miserable (at times) as I am.
Just keep plugging away at it; perhaps the third time will be the charm. Good luck.
