Oh, another thing that I still have and use although I'm not working is a sunrise/sunset simulator. I'm so used to it that I forget it is a tool. Now that I'm not working I only use the sunset simulator which dims the light gradually over a time I set so that I fall asleep and sleep in the dark instead of just passing out at some point. When I needed to get up the sunrise simulator would gradually wake me by turning light slowly so that I wasn't trying to get up in the dark. I've not had good luck with cheap ones but the one I've had twice now that cost $120 this time to replace it (much less the first time which was about 8 years ago) seems to hold up better. I hope it continues since it's the 3rd one I've bought in the last year since my old one finally just wore out. The others only lasted a few months and were not nearly as programmable. It seems to be a case of you get what you pay for. It does really help me though.
