He used a crockpot metaphor once that was kind of hilarious. It went something like this
T: what if someone gives you a crockpot, I mean, what do you do with a crockpot?
Me: crockpots are awesome! You can make anything in a crockpot. Throw food at it and it turns it into dinner. I want potroast now.
T: well... You know what to do with a crockpot. Eventually more and more people will give you crockpots.
Me: nobody needs more than one crockpot. Maybe two at most.
T: it's supposed to be a metaphor
Me: I still want potroast.
