Do yourself a favor and break your engagement. It's a little embarrassing for awhile (I went through the same thing), but it will save you a lifetime of trouble in the long run.

I figured when I was staying awake nights thinking "omg, what have I done" when I thought about a lifetime with the guy that it was probably not a good idea to go through with it. I'm really glad I didn't. It sounds like you are going through the same thing.
