First of all, never call anything you do stupid! It's the work of the depression, not yours! And no one who's stupid can get help and then find a job and be successful!
The exercise you probably need is long walks and jogging, and of course, healthy diet. I think, I repeat, I THINK that's what you should do. I did it and it helped, but I'm not sure about how it could affect others, or whether it will in the first place. And, I recommend seeing a specialist, don't take diet plans from the web, your body needs a certain, unique diet to it.
