When it's hard to be around people, I don't feel lonely because when it's hard to be around people I want to be alone.

Besides, I guess growing up as an only child, I was always alone & never lonely because I learned to do things of interest that I enjoyed doing by myself so much of my life now, it feels normal to be alone. I have to remind myself that I need to get out & be with people though with all the activities I'm involved in it's I always have interactions with people now...& sometimes I need my down time & my alone time to recharge at this point but when depression was bad, I never felt lonely being alone.
