The second time she slammed the housemate's head into the wall. The staff do nothing about it other than make her go to her room. But five minutes later she comes out and they can not force us to stay in our room. This housemate is always saying that we have stolen tobacco from her and pop. Or at least that is what she is saying about us today. Thing is is that she has two locks on her door that she keeps locked at all times. Only she and staff have keys to her lock. I am pretty sure this housemate is stealing tobacco from us.
I don't know who to turn to because staff do nothing. LA-ML is afraid to stand up to her and so am I mostly for LA-ML's sake. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could possibly do to make things better for us. I mean we talk to our T and our crisis advocate and they get upset for us. Staff tease LA-ML when we let them know who they are talking to. So we made the deal with our T that we would only talk by email and if she thinks she needs to tell someone at our group home that she will call and not tell them who emailed her. And that after each session she will make sure that LA-ML is the one in control.
Thanks,

here in the USA all foster care homes, group homes, mental facilities have to have state certifications and is over seen by governing agencies where complaints are investigated against those agencies\group homes/foster homes. based on your location on your profile here is the link where you can report what is going on in your group home/facility. they will take your statement and do an investigation. if according to your states standards for for staffing allowing abuse/neglecting the needs of those in residence and not protecting the residents from this abusive housemate this governing agency will see to it that changes are made in your group home to ensure your safety or the home will be closed down and all residents will be moved to better group homes that do uphold your states standards for ensuring all residents safety and well being.....
