I can feel for what you are going through. I was not diagnosed with ADHD until I was 28. Medications will help with some things. Just remember, you can do everything that anyone else can do. You just need to find other ways to do it. You will probably need more organizational help and structure. You will need to find organizational ways that work for you.

Here is the advice I can give to you:
  • Take inventory of what ADHD symptoms you are having trouble with. For instance organization. Find ways to minimize these challenges. There are many great resources online that can help with almost any ADHD symptom.
  • Remember your attitude affects your whole world. If you see yourself as disabled and everything is impossible then it will be.
  • For all the ADHD challenges there are also many benefits including high IQ, high creativity, ability to think outside the box, etc. There are many highly successful people with ADHD
