That's neat about the name, I never knew that. The cartoon is a futuristic, version perhaps, based on that book. It's about the journey of Ulysses and his son Telemecus, on the space ship called the Odessey. He killed the cyclops and the gods punished him by putting his crew into a sleep state, and he can't recue them until he journeys to find the kingdom of Hades.
