I deal with OCD, phobia, and I think I have mild Trichotillomania. I don't feel any positive things that happen in my life. The OCD bothers me everyday and when I think of something that happens earlier in the day, I worry and then feel stressed. That can lead to a sad/depressed feeling.
I am a teenager, I can't do anything because I can't drive / afford anything. The a. parent's say I will get therapy but I never do. It has been almost a year since they said they were going to call a psychiatrist.
Someone said that if they don't do anything it can be called, Child Neglect.
As I get older, the OCD gets worse.
I know that nobody can diagnose me, except a doctor, but does it sound like depression or stress?

Hi Spike,
Teenagers are very often depressed and I wouldn't be surprised if you are too. I don't think you have to wait for some official diagnosis (there isn't any official test anyway). Instead of waiting for MDs, how about researching for things you can do yourself right now? I think that the people who are the most active and creative about getting better do the best, whether they are seeing therapists or not. For depression, these notes might help:

And here is what I think is the best overall plan:

I don't really know about OCD, but maybe others can comment. I'm sure that there are lots of resources for you on the internet.
