As far as the mixed information you are getting regarding the duration of physical withdrawal symptoms from coming off of Celexa, that doesn't surprise me. Since people respond differently as a general rule, it is truly difficult to pinpoint a precise average for duration.

However, one thing you may wish to consider is that it may be a "flinch response" as well. For example, when I was taken off my medication for a while due to lack of funds, I was told that the withdrawal symptoms would last approximately two to three weeks. Yet, I was always not feeling well physically and emotionally, in a constant state of high anxiety and fear. It took me a while to realize that my body was literally missing my meds not in the physical sense but the mental sense.

This may or may not be the case for you and I would advise you to see a medical doctor just to make sure that the symptoms you are feeling are not related to something else. I share this information with you just as a food for thought kind of thing and I hope you don't take it as if I am trying to simply dismiss your concerns.
