I just had a brilliant idea.
I've been looking for jobs for weeks, and having little luck. I also have a hard time gathering the info I need to determine whether a job is a good match for me from the descriptions provided on sites like indeed.com.
So, I'll hire myself to make a better job matching site, haha! I'll allow people and companies to make profiles, like what you would see on a dating site. Detailed descriptions on past projects/work histories from both sides will be provided. For a lab job, for example, the advertising lab can post links to recently published papers while the job applicant can post links to papers they've gotten their names on over the years. So that both parties can see if they are a good match.
The site will provide statistics on which companies have hired large numbers of applicants from your university, etc.
There will be a job seekers support forum.
And inspirational quotes.
Alright, time to start looking at $5,000,000 houses.
