I have a husband too who thinks I'm crazy and thinks he is too. I hate
the fact that he is so unsupportive and non-healthy. I can't depend on him for support-and he can't take care of himself either. When I first gave birth 3 years ago, he also was unsupportive as was my father/sister and it was devastating. I was on Prozac for many years and it worked. Only ocassionally I would have an anxiety attack but when I was pregnant I was perfect, no attacks and I didn't miss Prozac until after I delivered when I had post partum depression but was breast feeding and didn't want to stop. I recently read Brooke Shields "Down Came the Rain" and it was very scary but she is very honest. Its a good read but kind of depressing at least for me because it brought back all those memories for me. My daughter was very colicky and I had no clue how to cope and she wound up getting very sick with Meningitis. If you can try SamE over the counter which I heard is good if you dont want a formal prescription. Brooke tried Paxil and it worked for her. I hope this helps some. Reach out to your friends with children and surround yourself with people who will listen to you and not be judgemental. Call old friends and invite them over and remember If you think your child is sick take her to the ER only not to your pediatrician first. They know nothing and can cause harm to the child with their inexperience. God Bless You and Peace be with you. "Scaredinny77."
