i really really want to cut again

something my mother said today has really upset and angered me and I just want to cut now

I began singing a song by an artist who it has just been reported in the paper that she self harms. My mum said, "oh she will be dead soon" and when i asked why, she said "because she is into all that silly self harm and stuff like that". I just wanted to lift up my sleeve and say "Silly self harm.....you mean like this????"

I was so close to telling my mum that I self harm the other day, but I am so glad I didnt. The only person in my family who knows is my husband, and it is stayng at that.

i really wish i didnt want to cut so badly
