My mom told me to tell my pdoc that I was talking over her too fast. He said 'don't worry about it. If you had pressured speech, I wouldn't be able to get in a word edge wise; you would be speaking in one giant, long. loud sentence. I would recognize it right away.' Soon after that I was extremely manic and my mom was pissed he didn't listen.
